It’s hard to believe it’s already September! This year has flown by and as the summer ends I am filled with gratitude at where we are and what we have accomplished.
My team and I have pulled out of the pandemic slow down by having our highest producing year of my 20+ career (we are at $127MM YTD!!)—much of it working from home.
On that front, we just opened our new office in downtown Manhattan Beach at 1300 Highland Avenue, Suite 205 (or as I like to call it “Farmer’s Market Lane”)—please come by and say “hi” when you’re out and about! On any given day you can see myself, Kelsey, Michelle, Bri, Heather, Kaveh, Trevi, and/or Roma working away! We are super comfortable with the “tight quarters” since we bonded during our incredible team retreat in Deer Valley, Utah.
On to the market…a few important things to note whether you are buying or selling. In the South Bay specifically, we are down 55% in inventory year over year. Good news for sellers, not so great news for buyers. We are however uniquely poised to help our buyers get locked in at reasonable pricing with our knowledge of on and off market listings as well as our negotiating skills. The Los Angeles luxury market is particularly interesting—the statistics are staggering:
—553 closed sales of $5MM+ YTD, compared to 339 last year (UP 63%)
—209 closed sales $10MM+ compared to 110 last year (UP 90%)
—52 closed sales $20MM+ compared to 26 last year (UP 100%)
—15 closed sales $30MM+ versus 11 last year; 8 closed sales $40MM+ versus 5 last year
